Igloo Security which leads information protection based on AI announced that it has completed registration of five patents related to Artificial Intelligence and Security Monitoring to improve the efficiency of security monitoring.
The three cases of patents focus on improving the visualization functions to intuitively recognize meaningful security information. Through analyzing security data by using AI models charts matching the type and level of security alarms are automatically applied and visualization events that are likely to be confirmed by the user are automatically displayed on the dashboard. Also a dashboard image showing occurrence time of abnormal situation and amount of occurrence is provided in the order of time flow or in reversed time.
The two cases of patents are designed to efficiently select the risk patterns from Graph data which is linked to the object characteristics in the security data and to support relaying the Application Programming Interface(API) to secure information exchange between the front-end and back-end. Based on the added new node the presence or absence of a risk pattern graph is determined and the requested API result value is transmitted based on opened back-end API list.
The company is planning to apply the achieved patented technology to the ‘Spider TM AI Edition which is an AI security monitoring solution.
The security monitoring agents do not need to specify the data of charts and visualization that matches the security data. They can rather detect the information they need in precise and timely. In addition it can quickly cope with the security issues that could not be found at the time of occurrence by checking dashboard images showing abnormal conditions. Furthermore pre-blocking the authority which do not have the access to API can prevent threats that occurs in back-end and can quickly identifies the risk pattern from graph data.
Deok-chun Lee CEO of the Igloo Security said Igloo Security has been expanding its research and development investment for several years to strengthen AI technology that matches digital transformation. We will continue research and development as a leading AI-based information protection company and secure core technologies.
