Cookie Run Mobilized to Promote Koreas Natural Heritage!
Cultural Heritage Administration Partners with Devsisters for Natural Heritage Expedition Campaign... Survey on Favorite Natural Heritage Starts on the 5th
The Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) under Director Choi Eung-chun in an effort to promote Koreas beautiful natural heritage is launching the Natural Heritage Expedition Campaign in collaboration with Devsisters (CEO Cho Gil-hyun) using the Cookie Run brand starting from August 5.
The campaign kicks off with a survey (from August 5 to August 31) asking the public to select representative natural heritages of Korea across four categories: animals plants geology and scenic sites.
Participants can choose their favorite heritages from categories such as:
Animals: Otters Asiatic black bears cranes etc.
Plants: Ginkgo tree at Yongmunsa in Yangpyeong Jeongipumsong pine tree in Songnisan Boeun etc.
Geology: Gosu Cave in Danyang horned dinosaur fossil in Hwaseong etc.
Scenic Sites: Gwanghalluwon Ulsanbawi Rock in Seoraksan etc.
The survey is accessible to everyone via the National Participation Portal Gungmin Saenggakham on the official website of the Peoples Idea Box (https://www.epeople.go.kr/idea/index.npaid). Among those who participate in the survey 100 individuals will be randomly selected to receive coffee vouchers.
The CHA plans to feature the publics preferred natural heritages as the backdrop and themes in Cookie Run videos which will be displayed on major billboards in downtown Seoul starting from November. Additionally from 2025 these heritages will be developed into collaborative Cookie Run products and services.
Notably the CHA and Devsisters signed an MOU on July 12 last year to promote natural heritage and cooperate on the repatriation of overseas heritage engaging in various activities and promotions. This campaign part of their ongoing collaboration is designed to coincide with the establishment of the CHA (May 17 2024) and to cater to the global interest in Korean heritage making it easy and enjoyable for everyone to experience and understand the value of natural heritage.
The CHA hopes that this campaign leveraging the beloved Cookie Run brand will make natural heritage more relatable and spark a desire to directly or indirectly experience it. The administration plans to continue operating various campaigns to preserve and enjoy Koreas precious natural heritage in daily life.
