Dot also achieved another technological breakthrough for the visually impaired with the Dot Pad which won the 2023 CES Innovation Award. The Dot Pad is the world’s first tactile display allowing visually impaired individuals to feel handwriting signatures and other content by touch. It instantly converts content from connected Bluetooth devices into tactile graphics. This enables the visually impaired to physically perceive maps images and more making creative activities in fields like design sports and gaming accessible.
