“A Stage for Revolutionary Innovation” – G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week

An event free of formalities like VIP seating honorary introductions or speeches is set to break the mold. Instead a platform for innovation and convergence is being unveiled.

From December 1 to 3 the G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week will take place at the Daejeon Convention Center and WIP Square. This international event aims to fuse science technology and cultural arts. Co-hosted by KAIST the Nam June Paik Art Center and the Daejeon Tourism Organization the event seeks to position Korea as a global hub for TechArt through creative innovation and convergence.

More than just a festival this event aspires to become a starting point for designing the future through the integration of science technology and art. Drawing global attention G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week is expected to solidify Korea’s place as a central player in the TechArt movement.

At this event Vsevolod Taran will deliver a presentation titled “Human-AI Interaction in Art: How Technology is Changing Our Experience.”

In his presentation Taran will explore how collaboration between art and AI reshapes creative experiences transforming the audience from passive observers to active co-creators. What if art not only affected its audience but also interacted with their emotions and imagination?

Key examples include “Deus Ex Machina” an installation at the Outline Festival where audiences could manipulate visuals of a half-destroyed supercomputer and “Hyperfeeling” at the Balloon Museum which invited participants to reflect on emotions like joy and anger through visuals and sound. These projects showcase the immense potential of human-AI collaboration. Taran’s presentation will challenge how AI can create personal connections and collaborative spaces in the realm of artistic expression.

Vsevolod Taran is an AI Generative Design Specialist at SILA SVETA an international multimedia production studio founded in 2008. Known for its distinctive visual style and global portfolio SILA SVETA has produced work for FIFA World Cup 2022 AFC Asian Cup 2023 concerts for The Weeknd Drake and Billie Eilish and product launches for brands like BMW Lamborghini and Samsung Unpacked. Their immersive exhibitions include “Tutankhamun” and “Vl Ocean” shows.

Over the past 16 years SILA SVETA has won more than 130 international awards and completed over 850 projects worldwide. The studio operates offices in New York Moscow Dubai and Limassol.

From the 75-meter LED screen that sets the stage for the Convergence Prelude to visionary lectures and creative showcases audiences will witness the awe-inspiring union of science technology and art. Highlights include AI avatar dances EDM performances by virtual idols and 13 nations’ experts collaborating on the future of TechArt. This event underscores Korea’s leadership in TechArt on a global scale.
