From December 1 to 3 the G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week will take place at the Daejeon Convention Center and WIP Square. This international event aims to integrate science technology and cultural arts. Co-hosted by KAIST the Nam June Paik Art Center and the Daejeon Tourism Organization the event embodies a mission to evolve into a global hub for TechArt through creative innovation and convergence.

Session 3 Highlight: Kwan-kyu Lee - Computer Musician and Media Artist
Participating in Session 3 of G-Artience 2024 Kwan-kyu Lee is a computer musician media artist and mobile application developer dedicated to creating performance art that integrates music dance and visual arts.

Specializing in computer music at Dongguk Universitys Graduate School of Digital Image & Contents Lee developed a keen interest in computer graphics and app development. Rather than focusing solely on technology his goal is to create intuitive imagery that fosters communication with the audience. Currently he is actively producing works that combine dance and audiovisual elements while developing the necessary systems and applications. Additionally he nurtures the next generation of talent through lectures at Dongguk Universitys Graduate School and Jeonghwa Arts University.

In his presentation Lee will delve into the creation of XR content using Apple Vision Pro. He will provide an overview of XR technology and demonstrate the process of creating real-time audio-responsive content. The discussion will cover technical elements production tools future applications and potential advancements in XR content creation.

As a co-researcher and exhibition artist with Team Musimage Lee has showcased works such as Coloring Beethoven and The Tetris of Love at venues including Incheon International Airport and Seoul City Hall.
