From December 1 to 3 the G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week will take place at the Daejeon Convention Center and WIP Square. This international event aims to integrate science technology and cultural arts. Co-hosted by KAIST the Nam June Paik Art Center and the Daejeon Tourism Organization the event embodies a mission to evolve into a global hub for TechArt through creative innovation and convergence.
Far beyond a mere celebration this event aspires to be the starting point for designing the future through the fusion of science technology and art. With global attention G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week is poised to establish South Korea as a leading hub for TechArt.
Expanding the Boundaries of Creation and Building Emotional Connections Through the Fusion of Technology and Art
Jun Chul Jang CEO of Emotionwave Inc. will share his journey of innovation at G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week highlighting how the fusion of technology and art can expand creative boundaries and foster emotional connections.
Since founding Emotionwave in 2013 Jang has developed various platforms rooted in AI robotics extended reality (XR) and immersive technologies. Notable among these are the RIMA AI engine and MUTA Bandmaster which democratize creative participation. Through examples like the virtual artist Roha Emotionwave showcases new possibilities for creation and emotional expression in digital spaces.
AI-Orchestrated Immersive Creation
In his presentation Jang will introduce the RIMA AI Orchestra and AI Band demonstrating how real-time interaction-based performances can provide audiences with immersive creative experiences.
