Ji-hoon Kim a seasoned expert from the Trademark and Design Examination Bureau at the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) has dedicated years to shaping policies and practices that legally protect creators’ rights. With an impressive international track record including a bronze award at the 2008 Osaka International Design Competition and co-receiving the German iF Product Design Award Kim has studied and shared his knowledge on the legal protection and utilization of industrial design through his publications.

At G-Artience 2024 Connecting Week Kim will discuss the significance of design rights in safeguarding industrial design.
