“At the Intersection of Data Art and Business” – CEO Lee Joo-haeng’s Fusion Story
A New Path Discovered at the Crossroads of Science Art and Business Curiosity Is the Beginning of Everything – Speaking on the Connection Between Technology and Art

At the G-Artians 2024 Connecting Week held on December 2 last year CEO Lee Joo-haeng of Pebblus delivered a presentation centered on the convergence of art and business through data technology. With a unique background as a scientist artist and startup founder he is currently improving and evaluating the quality of AI training data through his Data Clinic service. Additionally his participation at CES 2025 has garnered attention on the global stage.
During his presentation CEO Lee expressed his hope that G-Artians would serve as a meeting place where technology art and business converge sharing his experiences born from fusion thinking.
He explained his artistic world and the content of his presentation as follows:
“My work is created around data and my presentation explored how technology art and business are interconnected. Much like the title ‘A Guide for the Travelers of the Data Universe’ suggests I work as a ‘code painting artist’ using pixels—the fundamental elements of data—to create paintings. I shared how this experience linked to artificial intelligence research and eventually expanded into a startup.”
When asked why a scientist would pursue art he credited “curiosity.”
“Research art and startups all share the common goal of discovering new questions and finding answers. I believe that thanks to this curiosity I have been able to expand my life along the x-axis y-axis and z-axis—from scientist to artist to entrepreneur.”
Reflecting on his experience with the Masters Ten Talk presentation he described it as “a very special presentation.”
“Inspired by TED Talks I prepared to communicate with the audience in a short amount of time. It was very exciting to engage directly with the audience on an open stage; however as a presenter I also found it challenging to maintain concentration which indicates that some optimization is needed.”
He evaluated the integrative role of the G-Artians event positively emphasizing that:
“We must continuously create platforms that bring together the capabilities of scientists and artists.”
He recalled his efforts to fuse science and art in the Daejeon region expressing high hopes for the event’s potential for further development.
As a strategy for K-Tech’s rise as a global leader he stressed the importance of “the essence of content.”
“Even when technology and art meet the essence lies in art. Good content must come first and it must be authentic. If technology dominates art it can lose its emotional impact and become awkward. Balancing art and technology is of utmost importance.”
Through his fusion-driven mindset that transcends the boundaries of technology art and business CEO Lee Joo-haeng has showcased new possibilities. In his words he looks forward to G-Artians evolving into a sustainable platform where fusion ideas continue to inspire a broader audience.
G-Artians 2024: Soaring as a Global Hub for Tech-Art
