Taiwanese Creative Director Jay Tseng Explores the Possibilities of Fusion in Korea
Co-founder of Ultra Combo Seeks New Collaborations at the Intersection of Art and Technology Hoping to Collaborate with Sila Sveta and Radugadesign

Jay Tseng from Taiwan co-founder and Creative Director of Ultra Combo has been reinterpreting Taiwan’s historical heritage through media art. He has previously garnered significant attention by creating programs that allow audiences to participate in the creative process in real time. Participating in G-Artians 2024 Connecting Week for the first time he gained fresh inspiration and explored diverse opportunities for collaboration.
“The theme of the convergence of science and art is an area that our team has long contemplated and actively pursued. This event was perfectly aligned with our work. It was my first time participating in an event held in Korea and I truly enjoyed meeting such a diverse range of people and engaging in enriching conversations.”
He particularly mentioned the potential for collaboration with two teams:
“I was especially impressed by Sila Sveta and Radugadesign. I believe that working with these two teams could lead to truly amazing outcomes. It was also fascinating to encounter a variety of perspectives from people with different backgrounds at this event.”
Looking ahead he stated
“Our team is focused on creating extraordinary experiences using technology. Through platforms like G-Artians I hope to collaborate with more global creators and explore new possibilities.”
Jay Tseng regarded his participation in G-Artians 2024 as a valuable experience that reinforced his conviction in his work and expanded the possibilities for international collaboration thereby enhancing the overall value of the event.
G-Artians 2024: Soaring as a Global Hub for Tech-Art
G-Artians 2024 Connecting Week was an international event held from December 1 to 3 2024 at the Daejeon Convention Center and WIP Square. The event offered a unique stage to showcase the fusion of science technology and cultural arts. Co-hosted by KAIST the Paik Nam June Art Center and the Daejeon Tourism Organization it was designed with the goal of evolving into a global hub for tech-art through creative innovation.
The interview took place on the second day of the event December 2 in the press room at the Daejeon Convention Center where various domestic and international speakers and stakeholders gathered to engage in in-depth discussions about the significance and achievements of the event.
Beyond mere fusion the event demonstrated a strong commitment to exploring new possibilities at the intersection of science technology and art with the aim of positively impacting future industries and society.
