SAMSUNG and LG was faced a lawsuit side by side due to patent monster at U.S.A related to semi-conductor

Samsung electronics and LG electronics was caught up simultaneously in patent infringement lawsuit that file a lawsuit from Patent monster in U.S.A. Because it has violated the patent law related to semi-conductor that is applied to smart phone.

The company which files a lawsuit against SAMSUNG and LG is known as a corporate body that causes numerous patent lawsuit against domestic company in abroad in related to the Europes Non-Practicing Entity (NPE).

The patent is related to AP (Application Processor) semi-conductor technology that is equipped to smartphones which is about multi processor chip which is equip with multiple operating systems (Chip multiprocessor with multiple operating systems).

Regarding the petition the Plaintiff mentioned that their own patent was used illegally in Nand flash technology that is applied to GalaxyS10 series and operating technology of Qualcomms snap dragon SoC chip which is equipped in smartphone.

LG electronics smartphone V60 thinQ and V50 thniQ have been chosen as a concrete patent infringement product list. Beside Sonrai Memory has filed a lawsuit as a same patent infringement mentioning Pixel 5 smartphone of Google.

Sonrai Memory urged to the Judge through petition that Compensation and import prohibiton for the damage of the patent infringement should be commanded and defendant have to be in charge of expense related to the suit.

Samsung and LG will implement a policy to officially deal with this cases after checking the petition related to this lawsuit.

In the related industry the analysis are coming out that Samsung and LG are likely to apply with long risk causing a patent dispute in U.S.A sustainedly.

Especially semi-conductor display communication etc are core target of Non Practicing Entity·NPE that earn loyalty overusing lawsuit all over the world after buying a patent from other corporation.
