China Supreme Peoples Procuratorate unveils the consolidation plan for protecting jurisdictions of Intellectual Property

On February 7th of 2021 via online interview the China Supreme Peoples Procuratorate introduces the development of situations for Intellectual Property prosecution tasks and future plans with proposing new consolidation plan for protecting jurisdictions of Intellectual Property.

The China Supreme Peoples Procuratorate had unveiled that the Intellectual Property cases have characteristics of cutting-edge nature and intersectionality that a related case includes various legal responsibilities and acts known as civil damage compensation administrative disposition and criminal cases prosecution etc. given. In order to consolidate overall protecting jurisdictions of Intellectual Property.

- As meeting a touchpoint of history related to completing the 13th five-year scheme and to starting the 14th five-year scheme the priority plan for the China Supreme Peoples Procuratorate is to establish an integrated protection system for civil cases administration and criminal cases are found.

- In order to establish an integrated protection system above it has integrated prosecution functions harder in accordance with consolidating the criminal protection legal system and statements of typical cases etc. of the Intellectual Property strengthened the punishments for any offenses found and completely enhanced the level of protecting jurisdictions of Intellectual Property.

- Especially as a great attempt towards to integrate prosecution features and implement joint monitoring it is designated for the operation of the Intellectual Property Prosecutor Affairs Office to convey its intention of consolidating the protection on the jurisdictions of Intellectual Property to the whole society.

- By this time the Intellectual Property Prosecutor Affairs Office has implemented trial projects for the centralization of the Intellectual Property prosecution features in about 8 differentiated provinces as Beijing Tianjin Shanghai Jiangsu Zhejiang and Fujian etc. It also had played a very important role to establish stabled task systems in relating to the Intellectual Property prosecution.

- For the future the China Supreme Peoples Procuratorate look forward to have legitimate interests of market participatory ensured and have placed the legalization of Intellectual Property prosecution tasks on a higher plane by demonstrating effects of overall protection of the jurisdictions as having improvements in prosecution tasks given for the Intellectual Property criminal cases and consolidating civil cases within administrative control of Intellectual Property.
