Under the slogan Korea IP News to the World and World IP News to Korea WIPNEWS signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Daedeok Innopolis Venture Association (DIVA) to enhance the competitiveness of intellectual property in Koreas small and medium-sized venture companies in the conference room of WIPNEWS on the 13th.
Daedeok Innopolis Venture Association (Chairman Park Chan-koo hereinafter Association) is the largest venture business association in Daejeon and Chungcheong Province which is leading the growth of innovation clusters through the convergence and sharing of mutual information for venture companies located in Daedeok R&D Special Zone a forward base for creating new growth engines for the Korean economy and in this era when social networks and open communication platforms are becoming an important environment for innovation information resources suppliers demand space and suppliers.
WIPNEWS (CEO Kim Soo-woo) is an intellectual property (IP) news platform that aims to translate major IP-related news from Korean into English and send it to media companies around the world and translate IP-related news from media companies around the world into Korean and deliver it to Korean readers.
In particular it aims to produce various contents such as live technology value evaluation and international technology trading marketplaces as well as world intellectual property forums education and shopping with video-oriented news such as ranking news in various fields and intellectual property challenges.
Through this business agreement it is expected to set the cornerstone for Korea to become a world intellectual property hub country with ▲joint efforts to improve the competitiveness of intellectual property of DIVA members ▲ joint cooperation to promote intellectual property at home and abroad and ▲ forums and symposiums for intellectual property education of DIVA members.
Chairman Park Chan-koo said Through the agreement the strong intellectual property competitiveness of our association members will be widely spread at home and abroad contributing greatly to the growth of not only domestic but also global companies.
CEO Kim Soo-woo said Daejeon is already an IP hub city in Korea and is a cradle of intellectual property where research institutes and venture companies are gathered to create intellectual property. We will continue to build an IP-oriented network and create an IP hub ecosystem through continuous MOUs.
