CNIPA approved the Fujian Intellectual Property Protection Center establishment

On January 5th of 2021 China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) had approved the establishment of Fujian Intellectual Property Protection Center

■ Background

Since 2016 CNIPA has established and operated the Intellectual Property Protection Center for the prompt protection of right.

■ Main Contents

Fujian Intellectual Property Protection Center is the 3rd establishment of Intellectual Property Protection Centers given in China which is established after Quanzhou and Ningde establishments. At the present there are about 41 establishments are ongoing or established centers including 3 previous establishments above.

- This center will be joint provision of one-stop services across prompt screening settling rights and protecting rights that are related to mechanical equipment and electronic intelligence industry.

- At the beginning stage of the establishment Quanzhou and Ningde Intellectual Property Protection Center with Xiamen and Jinjiang Intellectual Property Rapid Protection Center have established Intellectual Property Protection Network which include Northern Central and Southern territories of Fujian in order to accelerate creation of good conditioned business environment innovate industrial development model and promote highly qualified development of dominant industry in relating to the Straits West Bank.

◎Intellectual Property Rapid Protection Center is where to provide rapid primary screening and confirmation of rights for small products and consumer goods (for daily use) that have a high demand for protecting the design rights with fast product update cycles in local industrial complexes.

◎Straits West Bank is designated for large-scale economic zone in order to enlarge the economic cooperation in between Fujian (China) within Taiwan which include about 20 cities as Fujian Zhejiang Guangdong and Jiangxi.
