Samsung Electronics Launches New Product of Next Generation Commercial Display The Wall’

Samsung Electronics launches a new commercial display ‘The Wall’ (Model name: IWA) based on micro LED technology in global markets including Korea on the 19th.

The Wall is a product that can be customized by applying a bezel-free modular method and is the next-generation display with the best performance in the industry. The new product of The Wall has evolved one step further from the existing product through three major changes.

First of all a Micro AI processor consisting of 16 neural networks is newly installed to upscale the input video to the optimal picture quality for The Wall.

Secondly it is applied with a new device that is about 40% smaller than the existing product showing off more complete black and gradation expressions.

Lastly it has differentiated ultra-large and ultra-high definition specifications such as 8K resolution (based on 16:9 screen) 120 Hz high mortality rate support and maximum width resolution of 16K (15360 x 2160).

In addition previously acclaimed technologies such as ▲ 4 Picture By Picture (4-PBP) function to divide the screen into four and play four different contents at the same time ▲ maximum 1600 Nit brightness ▲ 20 bit gradation expression ability and ▲ HDR10+ support were applied.

The new product of The Wall is about half thinner than the previous one and the installation convenience has been greatly improved.

In addition to the concave and convex shapes it can be installed in S-shaped and L-shaped or in attaching and hanging methods on the ceiling and can be installed on tilted walls with bringing out aesthetics.

It also enhanced the convenience of installation by applying a design that connects each module without a cable greatly reducing the installation time and supplying power and data by docking method combining the pin terminals attached to the cabinet with each other.

The Walls new product received a blue light reduction ‘Eye Protection Certification’ from Germanys TUV Rheinland a global standards certification agency.
