Please Name the First and Only ‘Copyright Exhibition Experience Facility’ in Korea

The Korea Copyright Commission (Chairman Choi Byung-goo hereinafter referred to as the Commission) announced that it will hold a Naming contest for copyright exhibition and experience facilities the first and only copyright specialized facility in Korea.

The application period is from July 26 (Mon) to August 13 (Fri) and anyone can easily participate through the application page (Naver form: http://naver.me/xC6pfsoS) posted on the commissions social media including the Korea Copyright Commissions website (www.www.or.kr).

The copyright exhibition and experience facility is an affiliated facility scheduled to be built on the first and second floors of the copyright education experience center currently under construction on the site of industrial cluster Jinju Innovation City Gyeongsangnam-do. The copyright education experience center which is constructed to have six stories above ground and a total floor area of 9624 m2 on a land area of 5405 m2 consists of a copyright exhibition and experience facilities such as a copyright exhibition room an experience room and a GongU Madang room and ▲ lecture rooms and divisional discussion rooms of various sizes ▲ a work space for the commission and an office space for responding to civil affairs.

Constructed in March this year expected to be completed in the second half of 2022 the copyright exhibition and experience facility will be designed to be able to fill the copyright knowledge of children and teenagers of the online cyber age through exhibitions of copyright-related historical artifacts and easy-to-understand and hands-on educational programs.

This contest will be proceeded by recruiting naming creations that can ▲(symbolism) imply the meaning or symbolism of the copyright exhibition and experience space ▲(creativity) contains creative characteristics without referring to or imitating other cases ▲(legibility) can be easily called and recognized.

The received works will be awarded in the order of the highest score △ the Grand prize (1 person) 1 million won △ the Best Excellence prize (1 person) 500000 won and △ the Excellence prize (5 people) 200000 won through the first screening and the second preference survey and a coffee gifticon will be provided to 100 applicants as the participation event through sortition.
