What Is the New Energy That Will Open a New History in the Age of Space?

Bezos who has been developed his dream to go to space watching Apollo 11 land on the moon successfully completed his space trip on the historic day of the 52nd anniversary of Apollo 11s landing on the moon.

Not to be outdone Space X led by Teslas CEO Elon Musk is also preparing to launch a spacecraft with civilians in September. As famous SF writer Arthur Clark said Highly advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic we are living in a world where magical things are happening.

It is a revolutionary period in which the stage of human life extends from Earth to space. Mankind which opened the Age of Exploration in the 16th century and discovered the Americas is now opening the door of the universe and taking on the challenge of a new space era. Human history is in line with the history of energy development. Prehistoric mankind who discovered fires finally achieved an agricultural revolution by settling down and the use of coal and petroleum energy blossomed the industrial revolution and industrialization. In the space age where the experiences and common senses that mankind has been accumulated so far do not work what is really necessary for mankind who is toward the deep universe?

There are two scientists who have struggled to find answers to the question for a long time. The two scientists who have captivated both academia and the public have drawn a paradigm shift that opens a new era and the future of science and technology that goes beyond conventional wisdom since a long time ago. And the eyes of the two scientists crossed at one field a Nuclear fusion.

Stephen Hawking who overcame the disability caused by Lou Gehrigs disease and studied until his death was an authority in cosmology who clarified the secrets of black holes and a world-renowned physicist who made outstanding work in the field of quantum gravity. He was also a symbol and pride of British science and technology. It was perhaps a matter of course that Stephen Hawking was invited to the opening ceremony of the University of Cambridges Big Data Center the center of cutting-edge science and technology.

At the time British broadcaster BBC asked Hawking the worlds most renowned physicist and British science and technology teacher what was the idea that would change our society. Hawkings answer was beyond the expectations of everyone who was there. One idea he chose for a better future of humanity was nuclear fusion.

In the field of Big Data technology which was a future technology but now already came he chose nuclear fusion as the new future possibility and goal that humanity will face again. Stephen Hawking was a scientist who had long argued that humans should prepare to leave Earth. During his life Hawking warned that the planet will face a survival threat in the near future including asteroid collisions global warming environmental pollution nuclear war and population explosion and genetically modified viruses.

This can also be seen in Hawkings posthumous collection A Brief Answer to the Big Question published in 2018. Hawking said that the biggest risks Earth facing were asteroid collision and global warming which led to the extinction of dinosaurs stressing once again that the best solution is to obtain clean energy that has no pollution and does not cause global warming through nuclear fusion energy.

The reasons why countries around the world are heading into space are different from each other but the advent of the space age has now become an undeniable reality. Longing for the universe may eventually be the fateful attraction of mankind born in space to find its origin.

The age of space has already begun and it is time for us to imagine different things from now on. What would be needed when we leave Earth and travel through open space without a ray of sunlight or a breath of wind.
