Jin Air Will Hold an In-Flight Music Contest

Under the subtitle A Song to You Dreaming of Traveling the 2021 Jin Air Music Contest will be held for about a month from August 2nd to August 31st.

Just write a song under the theme of a bright and cheerful creative song that can remind people of Jin Air a creative song that expresses the excitement and joy of travel. Any Koreans who love music can apply and duplicate application can be made as individuals or teams regardless of genres.

The contest will recruit songs in categories of song music (containing lyrics) BGM and instrumental songs and the songs can be submitted in the form of MP3 or WAV files. The applicants have to submit a song of more than one minute in size of less than 30mb and the compressed file name format is Jin Air_Song Contest_Kim Jini (Name of the applicant)_080717 (date of birth). The applicants can also download the application form from the Jin Air PC website and press the Apply to Music Contest button to apply.

A total of four teams will win the award which is scheduled to be announced on September 13th. The team who won the grand prize will be given one million won and four domestic round-trip tickets while the team of runner-up prize will be awarded 500000 won with two domestic round-trip tickets and two teams of participation prize will be awarded two domestic round-trip tickets for each team.

The copyright of the winning song belongs to the winner while Jin Air Co. Ltd. the organizer/host of the contest will have the right to Allow non-exclusive use of copyright property rights and the contracts will be drawn up for each winner later.

Permission for non-exclusive use of intellectual property rights should be regarded as permission for use of works as follows.

- Unlike in the case of the transfer the copyright holder can keep his or her copyright and allow the other party to use the work with permission.

- A person who has obtained permission from the copyright holder may use the work within the permitted method and conditions of use.

- It is possible for copyright holders to select and allow whether it is non-exclusive right or exclusive right of the work.

- The Permission for non-exclusive use refers to a case in which the intellectual property right holder allows overlapped right to multiple people and the Permission for exclusive use refers to a situation that a contract between the intellectual property right holder and the user to use the work exclusively within a certain limit is concluded.
